Wasson, John D.
Castleton-John D. Wasson, 83, of Castleton died Monday January 9, 2017 at Eddy Village Green, Cohoes after a brief illness. John was a well known resident of the Castleton community for over 50 years. He was a 44 year member of the Castleton Kiwanis Club and a longtime faithful member of Emmanuel Reformed Church.
He is survived by his wife of over 50 years Nancy Wasson, daughter Joy (Richard) Dalaba, son Glenn (Kim) Wasson, grandchildren Aaron, Sofia, Eliza and Silas.
His memorial service was held 11:00 am Saturday January 14, 2017 at Emmanuel Reformed Church, 1150 Maple Hill Rd., Castleton, NY.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Castleton Ambulance, 1700 Brookview Rd., Castleton, NY 12033.
