So sorry for your loss! Willard was a valued member of the local Mensa community, and I always liked hearing about the progress he was making on his house construction at our regular get-togethers at O'Tooles.

My grandparents, sister, and I hiked, biked, skied, and paddled with this fine gentlemen in my youth. He once pulled me to shore during a canoe incident. His kind persona will be remembered by many. GvB

Willard was a fine person. He was an active member of Mensa of Northeastern New York for many years, and was much appreciated ... he had a keen intellect. Often Willard would tell of his travel in Europe ... it was always good to hear of his experiences abroad and here in the United States. Willard enjoyed working outdoors, and doing good for the community. He was very pleased with his part in enhancing the beauty and physical features for enjoyable use of the Schodack Town Park ... the community can benefit from his work for years to come. We will all miss Willard ... may he rest in peace.

I am very sorry to hear about Willard's passing. I was on a number of hikes with him back in the '70s and '80s and enjoyed his company and the conversations we had about his various interests and travels. I hadn't realized that he had laid out the nice trails in the town park.

So very sorry to hear of John's passing. Angelo and I enjoyed his company and hard work at the Schodack Town Park. He actually tired us out. We also remember with fondness his enjoyment joining us for Thanksgiving at our home in East Schodack. He had many stories to tell. Rest in peace, John.
