Obituary of Sandra M. Owens

Sandra M. Owens, 67, of Rensselaer passed away at home on March 5, 2022.  Born and raised in Albany she was the daughter of the late Wilfred Rivers and Vestamae Fratianni.  Sandra was an animal lover and loved spending time with her grandchildren who were the apple of her eye.  She was very artistic and enjoyed creating and painting ceramic pieces. 

   She is survived by her partner, Earl Austin; son, Kevin (Sarah) Owens Jr.; daughter, Nicole M. Burke; brother, Vincent Fratianni; grandchildren, Mckayla Fleming, Kevin Owens III, and Kylah Owens.  She is also survived by her great grandson Landon Fleming; dear friend Nicholas Matthias and several nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her daughter Kaitlyn Owens and her brother John Fratianni.  There will be a private ceremony held in the future.
