Obituary of Charles J. Haberkern Jr.

Albany- Charles J. Haberkern Jr., 62 of Albany, NY., passed suddenly at Saint Peter’s Hospital on Saturday, August 13, 2022.  Born on October 11, 1959, to Charles J. Haberkern Sr. and Theresa Haberkern.  He was raised in Schodack Landing, NY and attended Maple Hill Schools.  Charles was employed with South Mall Towers, Inc., with 31 years of service. 

Charlie is a life member of Schodack Landing Fire Department, a member of the Walk and Watch Program, and was a member of the Ragged Mountain Fish and Game Club.   Survived by five sisters, Barbara Hoffman, Catherine Bornhorst, Teresa Woods, Rose Childrose, and Frances Radley. 

Per Charles’ wishes, he will be laid to rest in a graveside ceremony on August 22 at 10:00 am in Sacred Heart Church Cemetery at 3 Catholic Way, Castleton NY. Friends are invited to attend.
