Obituary of Robert L. Keller

Robert L. Keller, 85, of Valatie passed away peacefully surrounded by family and friends.  Born in Albany he was the son of the late William J. Keller and Barbara (Winkleman) Keller.  Robert was a graduate of Hudson Valley Community College prior to going to work for the family business and helping to found what is now known as William J. Keller & Sons Construction Corp.  He was a longtime member of the Rensselaer Elks Lodge #2073 and a former member of the National Guard.  He enjoyed building and built mostly all of the family homes that he lived in over the years. He enjoyed time spent with family and his beloved dogs.

Robert is survived by his sons, Robert Keller Jr., Kevin Keller, and Greg (Laura) Keller; daughter, Kathren (Steve) Keller-Hopkins; brother, William Keller Jr.; grandson Steven Brown; great granddaughter McKenna Brown and several nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by his brother John Keller Sr.

Relatives and friends are invited to call at the Castleton Funeral Home, 59 Seaman Ave. Castleton, NY on Thursday evening from 4-7PM.  Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
