Buckley, Augustin (Gus) P. Castleton- Gus Buckley, 93, passed away on Friday, March 17, 2017 with his loving wife and family by his side. Gus was born on June 8, 1923, in Schodack Landing and lived in Castleton all his life. He served in the Navy during the Second World War, and was employed by New York Central Rail Road upon his discharge. He was a member of the Sacred Heart Church in Castleton. Gus is survived by his beloved wife of 66 years, Frances (James), three daughters, Susan Kishlicky (Ken), Kathleen Buckley and Patricia Buckley. He is also survived by his beloved grandchildren, Brian, Cassandra and Nicole and his great grandchildren, Julian and Andrew. Relatives and friends may call on Tuesday, March 21, from 4:00 to 7:00, at Ray’s Funeral Home. His funeral service will be at 10:00 am Wednesday at the Sacred Heart Church, Castleton. Interment in Sacred Heart cemetery will immediately follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Castleton Volunteer Ambulance Squad.
